Don’t forget South Wraxall Village Fete is back: May 11th

The Village Fete is back on Saturday May 11th from 2pm to 4pm!  Come and join us at the Minters’ field (opposite the Village Hall) for another great village get together.  We have lots of brilliant new stalls including the intriguing human fruit machine, ‘Splat the Rat’ and a fortune teller along with some old favourites like the bottle stall, book stall and toy stall.  There will also be a baking competition, so get your aprons out and see just who can make the best dog biscuits in the village!  Refreshments will be available from the tea tent, the sizzling sausage stall and the beer and Pimms tent, with ice creams and sweeties for pudding.  Prizes for the raffle include lunches at the Longs Arms and Woolley Grange, Chimney Sweeping, Theatre Royal tour and many local promises including dog walking, baby sitting and car washing.

South Wraxall Fete Invitation

You will probably find someone knocking at your door before too long selling entry tickets and raffle tickets, they will also be available from the Longs Arms or failing that you can buy a ticket on your way into the fete.

If you have any questions or offers of help please contact Clare Norrie (867589) or Ruth Warren (863514) we are particularly keen to find marshalls to slow traffic and supervise the road crossing.
