Reminder: South Wraxall Harvest Festival, 11:00m 22nd September

This year’s South Wraxall Harvest Festival takes place in the church at 11:00am on 22nd September. It will be led for the first time by the church’s new rector, Ann Keating. Thanks to the Link Group, the village choir has come together again for this service and there’s a choir practice in the church at 7pm on Tuesday 17th September.

The collection and donations of produce will be given to the Alabaré drop-in centre in Trowbridge. The centre provides warm and welcoming support for vulnerable and homeless adults who are in need of crisis shelter, food and drink. They particularly need things like tinned food, coffee, sugar, juices, cereals, sauces, eggs, salad cream, salt and biscuits.

After the service there will be a ‘bring-and-share’ buffet lunch. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring along your own wine. Even if you’re not able to make the service, you’re very welcome to come along to the lunch.
