Carols around the Christmas tree and church service

Everyone is invited to sing carols around the tree next Sunday December 15th at 6.15pm, followed by a carol service in the church at 6.30pm. Please do come and remember to bring a torch.

Fortunately the tree  managed to remain upright through the strong winds last week and is now looking lovely and festive.

Our thanks go to those who contributed: the Walkers for providing the such a tall and beautiful tree, Mr. Sweep (Steve Randall) and the Parish Council for purchasing the lights,  the Acheson’s for very kindly providing power for the lights throughout the Christmas period, Toby Minter for expertly managing to get the tree up right and stable, Paddy Flinn for switching on the lights, and The Link Group for making the whole thing happen.
