Thanks to Mark Le Sueur for this information.
The corner field with a gated entrance opposite the pumping station, between the Upper and Lower Village, was sub-divided into individual plots some years ago, many of which were sold. I believe that the company handling this later went into liquidation. Mark noticed a newly dug patch of earth the size and shape of a grave when walking his dog across the field on Christmas Eve. He contacted the police who called back on Christmas morning to confirm that it is indeed a legitimate grave. Someone purchased the plot and made the necessary legal arrangements to be buried there. The grave is currently unmarked and is on the left hand hedge side of the field if you are walking on the path from the village to the lane that leads up to Monkton Farleigh.
