Evolution Plants open day at Belcombe Court, May 10th

Evolution Plants in the Lower Village is not open to the public as most nurseries are, mainly due to the width of the lane and consideration towards residents of the village. The company trades as an online nursery with visitors by appointment.

However, there will be an Open day on the 10th May which will be combined with a talk by Dan Hinkley on ‘Plant Hunting in Burma, Vietnam and China’. The venue for the lecture will be at Belcombe Court in Bradford-on-Avon, which is not normally open to the public. Full details can be found here.

Evolution Plants’ owner, Tom Mitchell, writes a monthly e-newsletter sharing information on events, shows, explorations, new plants available and updates on the nursery. Villagers may be interested to read about Evolution Plants by signing up for the newsletter and, while stocks last, receive a free copy of Toms Travelogue ‘Snowdrops and Hellebores.’ You can do that here.
