Following a period of closure to allow for a bit of decorating and for re-jigging of the opening times, the organising Committee are pleased to announce the re-opening of the South Wraxall Club on Easter Bank Holiday Monday, from 12.00 midday until close. There will be a fully stocked bar, BBQ (weather permitting), afternoon teas with homemade cakes, games in the garden (again weather permitting) and a general party atmosphere. Everybody in the village and surrounding areas will be made more than welcome and new or prospective members can come along to see what they are missing.
The regular opening times will be Fridays 7.00-11.00, Sundays 12.00-3.00 and Mondays 7.00-11.00. These times will be expanded as time and support from members allows. There is a rapidly filling programme of social events which includes a pop-up cafe, book swap area, gin night, curry nights, local historical lectures, pool/darts matches and pie nights, to name but a few.
Please come along on Easter Monday to have some fun, and see what has been done to what is – or could be if you’re not yet a member – your Club, for you.
A few committee changes have been made: Nick Anderson is the new chairman, Zoe Freeman is now treasurer, and Gina Godridge and Kelvin Hancock have become committee members.
