Harvest Festival at St James’s Church

From Jean Atkin:

Our Festival service this year will be on Sunday 5th October at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Bring and Share Lunch in the Village Hall. The collection and all gifts of produce brought to the service will be given to Alabaré, the charity which has a local base in Trowbridge and supports vulnerable people (including those with learning disabilities and mental health issues) in gaining independence.

Items needed by Alabaré on a day-to-day basis are tea bags, coffee, sugar, jam, cereals, biscuits, tinned meat/fish, jars of “cook-in” sauces, shower gel, toothpaste and toilet rolls.

We warmly welcome everyone to join us for this celebration. If you are unable to get to the service please do come along to lunch at about 12 o’clock.
