Invitation to join village carol singing on Thursday, December 18th

From Hilary Townsend:

When I moved to South Wraxall 16 years ago, carol singing around the village was an established annual event. Sadly, sometime in the last few years this has ceased.

We are hoping to gather a group of singers (and non-singers), young (and older) to sing carols around the Upper and Lower villages on Thursday 18th December. Please join us, either by singing or by simply welcoming us as we meander our way around the houses in the village from 6.00 pm.

We will be raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières, a charity working to fight Ebola and one of Sue Wyper’s chosen charities.

We intend to have a festive evening. If you would like to join us, we are meeting by the Christmas tree opposite The Long’s Arms at 6.00 pm. Wrap up warm and bring your own torch!

For further information please contact Hilary on 01225 864852 or Gill on 01225 867560.
