Breakfasts for 70 hungry villagers raises £470 towards the upkeep of the church

From Georgina Parker:

We had a wonderful morning today and served around 70 breakfasts to hungry villagers, making £470 towards the upkeep of the church.

More importantly it was a great village event bringing in lots of people for a sociable breakfast. A massive thanks to everyone who everyone who worked so hard doing everything from setting up the hall to cooking, serving, front of house, making tea, coffee, and toast, and then washing up. Blimey there was a lot of washing up! Thanks also to Rob at the pub for his black pudding which was delicious (and the helpers scoffed the last 4 pieces!), and to Bella for donating the wonderful eggs.

We are planning and looking forward to another village breakfast on 13th December, which may have a bit of a Christmassy theme!
