Bill Badley will play rare lute pieces from Renaissance and Baroque Europe

Professional musician and radio and television producer, Bill Badley will perform a short recital of music from the golden age of the lute in the wonderful acoustic of South Wraxall Church.

He will play rare pieces from Renaissance and Baroque Europe, including sumptuous sarabandes and delicate dances that would have enthralled monarchs and merchants alike.  Informative introductions will put this delightful music in its historic context.  Tickets cost £10 and include a glass of wine and canapés in the Village Hall after the recital.  All proceeds will go to the Church.

You can get your tickets in advance from Phil & Liz Knowling. Tel: 01225 864996; email: southwraxall@outlook.com.
