Reminder: Village carol service this Sunday, 20th December at 6:00pm

From Georgina Parker:

The village carol service takes place this Sunday at St James, followed by the Village Christmas Party in the Village Hall at approximately 7pm.

The service will be informal with music and readings suitable for all ages. The village choir will (hopefully) be making an appearance but fear not, the congregation will still be required to sing lustily to every carol!

Anyone who would like to be in the choir is welcome to come to our choir practise at 4.30pm in St James on Sunday afternoon.

A collection will be taken during the service which will be given to ‘Stepping Stones’ in Trowbridge, a charity which supports children from birth to 5 years old with disabilities and learning difficulties.

The service will be followed by a ‘Bring and Share’ party organised by the village hall committee and there will be a licensed bar.
