Urgent closure of C169 Wild Cross (part) South Wraxall, C169 Junction with Bradford Road South to Lynch Bottom (part) Little Chalfied.
On Tuesday 24th January 2017, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enableWiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, hand patching and associated works.
C169 Wild Cross (part), South Wraxall; Approximately 270m from Wild Cross Cottage in an easterly direction for approximately 90m to Lynch Bottom.
C169 Junction with Bradford Road South West to Lynch Bottom (part), Little Chalfield; Approximately 190m in an easterly direction from Lynch Bottom.
Via – C169 Junction with Bradford Road South West to Lynch Bottom (unaffected length) – C231 From Poor House Cottage to Ganbrook Farm – Chalfield Road – B3109 – C169 Wild Cross (unaffected length) and Vice Versa.
The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period.
This closure notice comes into effect on 24th January 2017, for a maximum of 21 days; however it is anticipated the work will take 1 day to complete. This will be between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
