First Church Tea of the Summer

From Jean Atkin:

The day dawned bright and fair for the first Afternoon Tea at St James’s this year. Villagers and visitors enjoyed delicious refreshments in the church and outside in the warm sunshine. We are grateful for the offerings of cakes, sandwiches and savouries which raised over £170 for church funds.

We did not see as many people as we were used to serving last year, but we look forward to welcoming many more of you throughout the summer. Next week, on Election Day, we will be offering refreshments all day, beginning with Morning Coffee. Do pop in when you come to vote.
