Sunday Breakfast

From Jean Atkin:

At our Mothering Sunday breakfast we were pleased to welcome many villagers, including some young families (so good use was made of the village hall high chairs).

We didn’t have quite as many guests as usual, but people were very generous in their donations. The result was a profit of £450 to help maintain the fabric of St James’s Church. Over recent months the large window in The Longs Chapel has been fully restored and more work on the windows is planned.

This was our last breakfast of the season, there will be no more until the autumn. However during the summer we hope to welcome you to our Afternoon Teas. Watch this space!
